We’re in the final stretch of this journey to tell the Frost story. As Tom Frost once wrote to us, “Who knows what the ‘Golden Age’ was all about? No one. Yet.”
That’s about to change. On the heels of our incredible Yosemite rough-cut screening in September, we completed some storyline tweaks and we’re packing the film up for post production.
Post is an education in process. The interview dialog will get sweetened and leveled. The Deer Tick soundtrack will get mastered. And, although the film is black and white, a colorist will adjust the contrast and luminance of every frame to enhance the film’s visual cohesion.
This is a critical part of filmmaking, and the pros we trust with Tom’s story are expensive. That’s why we’re making one more appeal this year for financial support: any contribution you make will help cover these vital post-production costs.
